Nervosa are a powerhouse three-piece band that are taking the world by storm, not only with their bewitching beauty, but with their aggressive vocals, double bass blast beats, and  an eruption of breakneck guitar sounds. The music they play is brutal with raw energy and savage hooks like a shot gun blast to the face. It is relentless and rough, bringing out what thrash metal is all about and what used to be. Nervosa are pushing the pedal to the metal with a full tank of gas leaving mayhem in their wake.

Hailing from São Paulo, Brazil, Prika Amaral, guitars and backing vocals, formed Nervosa in February 2010, with Fernanda Lira soon to follow taking on bass and vocal duties in July 2011. And after a period of lineup changes with drummers, Pitchu Ferraz joined the ranks in early February 2013. Once the lineup was secure and with a renewed energy, the threesome finished recording their first full length,'Victim Of Yourself'  in 2014.

The new release was met with a favorable response from the metal audience. It received great reviews from major magazines, such as the European Metal Hammer, Rock Hard, and Terrorizer. In anticipation for the release, the band teamed up with Revolver magazine to premiere the video  'Death’ which was filmed in a leper’s cemetery abandoned since the 1960’s.

To help promote Victim Of Yourself, the trio hit the tour road hard playing 51 shows in 60 days. They played in 17 of the Brazilian states, went through seven countries in Latin America, passing through a total of 16 countries on the continent.

This was the first time Nervosa toured the United States, and Metal Pulp And Paper corresponded with Pitchu Ferraz on what she thought. She remarked back with California was always a dream, so many bands she liked were born there. Texas was amazing with crazy headbangers. Touring here was a great adventure. Louisiana very fucking great! I hope to come back she mentioned.
Nervosa currently just finished up its tour in the United States and their second full length, Agony, is set to be released June 3rd via Napalm Records, engineered/produced by Brendan Duffey,  and mixed/mastered by Andy Classen.
