METAL PULP AND PAPER: Hello Sophie. Thank you for taking the time to speak with us here at Metal Pulp And Paper. We appriciate it.
First off, before we go any further and find out what your five estential albums are, please tell us a little about your band Gaia Theory? Who's in it, and what does everyone do?
SOPHIE MAROSE: Gaia Theory seeks to convey through sound that which connects all things in the universe. Within our music, we examine some of life’s most obscure synchronicities and explore how they can connect us further to the collective consciousness. In releasing our two-part single, Half Life, on October 5th, our hope is to instill within our listeners a sense of power and an unwavering desire to question the happenings within our ever-changing world.
-Sophie MaRose: Writer and Performer of all Lyrics and Vocals
-Nökken Fossegrim: Writer and Performer of all Instrumentation
MPAP: Thank you. Now what we've all been waiting for, please tell us your 'Top Five Essential Albums By 'Sophie MaRose.'
SOPHIE: I never believed that I could scream or sing with full force behind my voice at all. Through studying with Melissa Cross, the voice that had lain dormant within me was finally unleashed! These impressively brutal and magnificently deafening vocalists fronting each one of the bands listed below, serve as continuous sources of inspiration for me as I strive to develop and shape my own voice.
JINGER CLOUD FACTORY
ARCH ENEMY WAR ETERNAL
NIGHTWISH FORMS MOST BEAUTIFUL
THE AGONIST EYE OF PROVIDENCE
INFECTED RAIN 86
MPAP: On behalf of myself, and Metal Pulp And Paper, I'd like to thank you, Sophie, for sharing those killer selections with us. We look forward to what Gaia Theory does to finish out 2018 and beyond.
